INTERVAL BETWEEN LAST APPLICATION AND HARVEST (WAITING PERIOD)
Without restriction.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TREATMENTS
1 application.
Apply in pre-emergence or early post-emergence of the weeds (5 days after transplant).
Adjust the pH.
STINGER 48 SC presents pre-emergence and early post-emergence contact activity on the weeds in which it is applied, affecting meristematic tissues (active growth: epicotyl and hypocotyl). In pre-emergence, STINGER 48 SC forms a residual chemical barrier on the soil surface, acting by contact at the growth points of the target weeds, its residuality is favored by the conditions of high humidity and shading in the soil.
APPLICATION INTERVAL:
In established banana plantations, the interval between applications is approximately 12 weeks (performing an average of 4 applications per year). In rice, onion, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and pineapple crops, a single application is made at the beginning of the crop. In palm, apply approximately every 2 or 3 months depending on the level of weed infestation.
INTERVAL OF RE-ENTRY TO THE TREATED AREA:
Areas treated with STINGER 48 SC can be inspected 24 hours after application. If it is necessary to enter before this period, full protective equipment must be used. If it is mixed with another agrochemical, see in the pamphlet the restriction of it.
During application, avoid drifting to neighboring crops. In onion cultivation, avoid sowing or transplanting a successive crop up to 60 days after application. In bananas, the product must not come into contact with foliage or tissue with the ability to photosynthesize. In banana renewal areas, transplantation should be done 1 day after application.
TIME OF EMPLOYMENTSTINGER 48 SC is an herbicide of the Diphenyl Ether group that inhibits the photoporphyrinogen oxidase enzyme that causes the closure of the stomata and as a consequence a collapse of the cells, in addition this enzyme is involved in the synthesis of chlorophyll in plants since it is responsible for the synthesis of porphyrin in chloroplasts. This same enzyme is present in animals, in which it participates in the synthesis of the heme group, one of the main components of hemoglobin. The toxicity of this pesticide increases in the presence of light.
COMPATIBILITYThe product is compatible with many other phytosanitary products when used at normal rates. However, a compatibility test is recommended before being used with other products. Do not directly mix the concentrate with other concentrated herbicides or pesticides, always dilute it first.
PHYTOTOXICITYIt is not phytotoxic when used according to the recommendations and doses of SPACHEM S.L. In case of mixing, perform a small scale test to check compatibility and phytotoxicity.
